What We Cover

Week 1:

Introduction to Heel and  Basic Techniques

  • Mastering the Heel: Training Your Dog to Walk by Your Side
  • Teaching Your Dog to Sit When You Stop
  • Effectively Using the "Heel" Command
  • Utilising the Environment as a Reward

Week 2:

Building Consistency and Control

  • Various Training Exercises to Enhance Focus and Heel Work
  • Handling Distractions: What to Do When Your Dog Loses Focus
  • Walking in Heel Position Around Other Dogs and Owners

Week 3:

Mastering Heel in Real-World Situations

  • Implementing Complete Training Techniques During Everyday Walks

  • Can I bring the family?

    Yes! We encourage you to bring the whole family as it is vital that everyone who will be engaging with the dog be on the same page. However, we only allow children aged 6+ due to them needing to understand the training

  • What if I can't make one of the 3 weeks?

    Due to the limited number of dogs we allow in the classes we are afraid no classes can be substituted for other dates. However, you will still have access to the life time support so any questions you have email us at ask@thealphadogs.co.uk

  • How do I pay for the class?

    We accept payment via bank transfer no later than 7 days after receiving your invoice.

  • How many dogs will be in class?

    There will be no more than 4 dogs in a class at one time.

  • I haven't received my booking email yet!

    Please check your spam/junk folders if you have not received your reply yet as sometimes our emails do end up in there.
